While earning his degree in psychology at Duke University, Ted wrote advertising for the campus newspaper and created the cartoon "Sidney." He then moved to Washington DC, where he designed the Nature Conservancy magazine. At Dahlin Smith White (now Euro RSCG) in Salt Lake City, Ted led the design team for the campaign that gave branding recognition to the new Intel/Pentium. He joined MSA in 2005, bringing his passion and humor, and successful campaign experience with Triangle brands such as Wake Med, Red Hat, IBM and NCSU.
